and it’s raining today. Looks like I’m going to sleep pretty well tonight. Yeahhh.
It feels great being able to enjoy the gorgeous weather and not having to rely on the treadmill all the time. Although it was challenging to keep up the pace at times, I managed to stick it out for longer than I had expected.
Granted that I hate lunges, I decided to do them anyway. It is always a love+hate relationship. They don’t seem that hard to do, but sometimes it feels like the most excruciating 5-10 minutes of my life. I’d rather be doing pull ups, sadly. The results are great though, if you don’t mind the soreness the next day…and the day after…and the day after that…but maybe it’s just me though.
After doing a pre-summer and and post-summer weigh in, I’ve realized how much of an impact that college has had on me. I am hoping to get into better shape this year, and to do a 10k (within the next year hopefully?) Baby steps! Thanks to Tiff Huang for being my gym buddy last year, and inspiring me to run! Yayuhhh, I’m excited.
