Missing the Good Old Days.

sopravvivenza:

I love when you find a person you can talk to for ages about anything, everything and nothing, just because you enjoy their company.

Turkey Trot!

I never thought I would see the day when I would be participating in a race. I always thought to myself, why would people want to PAY MONEY to run a race? Because it’s fun? Okayyy… Then, summer came by, and then I began to notice that people that I knew were posting tumblr posts about their runs, track maps, times, etc., and I began to get super curious.

Did I ever think I’d ever enter a 5K? Not really. However, I’m super blessed to have these crazy but awesome friends. Thank you roomie, Kristin, for putting up with my nonsense and craziness of pulling you into this race with me and sending me awesome music to keep me pumped up, even though I wasn’t feeling it this morning…haha. I’m so proud of you. You did such an awesome job!!! :) Also, I am so thankful for Tiffany for motivating me to start running, Carmen for always being down to try new things, and Thu for having the initiative to enter this race with us at the last minute.

I also want to thank Patrick and cubieee George for helping me score this awesome shirt, Kristin’s family for coming to see our race and taking us out to sushi, LB Kathy, and squarebear Phuc, for the pre-run hugs and words of encouragement. Augh, I love you guys!!!

A pleasant weekend indeed. It was nice being able to step back from everything, and to just get away for a bit. Good eats. Good company. Good times. Now it’s back to the grind until Thanksgiving break. Midterms round 2, bring it.

Remember when chain letters were cool?

Before they became extremely annoying?

Haha. I know what you’re thinking. SPAM. But all generalizations aside, I actually think that it’s pretty cool that my old friends from high school are starting up chain letters again so that we can all keep in touch.

…because we all know how long it takes to tell our life story to our friends and to listen to their life stories every Christmas holiday, don’t we? Haha. Don’t lie. You’ve all done it. How long did it take? Three hours? Four hours? Five hours tops + txting? Just kidding.

Anyways, for once in my life, I’m going to look forward to emails > facebook notifications.

Super :)

Pictures.

Looking back on the old pictures I realize. I wouldn’t go back for a second, but I genuinely miss those days. Unfortunately, the time for blissful ignorance is not but a memory…

Good for us.

Well said.

Over the Moon.

They drove over 400 miles to come visit…feeling super blessed right now.

Best gal pals that a girl could ask for.

As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have a ton of friends, and more important to have real ones.

Summer favorite: running into old people you used to know and becoming reacquainted again.

It amazes me how people still remember you after all these years. Sometimes all it takes is a quick hello from the next table.

Sometimes you have to be a part from people you love, but that doesn’t make you love them any less. Sometimes you love them more.
